Be prepared to be interviewed, screened and
assessed
from the point of being not a good home, but a
great home for one of our Shih Tzu pups.
WHAT YOU
NEED TO KNOW!
-
We are not
commercial breeders and only have the
occasional litter, based on our interest in
breed improvement and dog showing.
Unfortunately we cannot keep all the pups we
breed, therefore we occasionally have Shih
Tzu puppies for sale.
-
We do not
sell more than one Shih Tzu puppy
out of a litter to the same home,
so do not phone or email looking for two or
more pups.
-
We do
not to sell our Shih Tzu pups to
breeders only pet homes.
There are NO exceptions! Our Shih Tzu
pups are only sold on spay or neuter terms.

We do not
sell Shih Tzu puppies to homes where
there is an unfenced pool, large pond or unfenced garden.
-
We do not
sell Shih Tzu pups to homes where there
are young children, 5 years and younger.
There are exceptions, but very few!

We do not
sell Shih Tzu to homes where their
are pit bulls etc.
-
We have not
exported in over 25 years of breeding, so if
you are enquiring from overseas, we will not
sell.
-
We never
agree to sell a Shih Tzu puppy to
someone, without first meeting the potential
owner, spouse and kids.
-
We do not
let our puppies go before 12 weeks of
age. Yes, we know other breeders do, but we
believe the extra four weeks of care and
socialization is more important.

We do not let
prospective owners see the pups before
they are 6 weeks of age, had their first
inoculations and been health checked.

We do not
take puppy bookings. For us it is
simple, keep in touch, show us you are keen,
find out when a litter is due and once the
pups are on the ground talk to us about what
you are interested in and coming round to
see the pups. Some of our best homes have
waited over 12 months for a puppy and we
appreciate the interest, commitment and most
of all the great homes these people provide
for one of our pups!

We expect
our puppy buyers to bring back their
pups between the age of 6-12 months to us so
we can see how they are doing.
Alternatively expect us to pop in
occasionally to see how the pup is settling
in.

Not every
puppy turns out to be a top show dog.
Our puppies are well bred, healthy and out
of some of the best lines in the world. We
focus on top quality pups and a well
balanced start to life.
WHAT YOU WILL
GET FROM US
-
Our pups are
out of top Shih Tzu with all pups
being pedigreed and registered with the
South African Kennel Union.
-
You will get a
copy of the pedigree when you take the
pup and you will only receive the
official papers once proof of spay/neuter
has been done - unless there are other
terms and conditions of sale.
-
You will be
provided with a recommended diet sheet
for the puppy up to and including
adulthood.
-
All our pups
are de-wormed and have the first and
second inoculation before leaving.
-
We encourage
you to take the pup for a health check
with your vet within the first 7 days of
ownership. If you are not 100% happy with
the puppy, bring the pup back and we will
refund your money.

Owning a
Stelron Shih Tzu means you are part
of the Stelron family. We take this
seriously! We would like you to keep in
touch and let us know how your pup is
settling in. You are also encouraged to
phone us if you have any questions,
problems, illness concerns etc. We will
always try and help, no matter what age the
Shih Tzu is.

If at any time
you have to re-home your Stelron Shih Tzu, we expect you to contact us.
We will help and take the Shih Tzu back if
necessary.
